New Life Kids equips kids to build a firm foundation in Jesus Christ. KidzZone is a place where kids know they are safe, loved, and accepted. Kids are encouraged to experience Jesus! This happens through worship, knowing who Jesus is, and learning all about what He has for them.
Have you ever looked at the world through the eyes of a child? What did you see? Have you ever wondered what faith looks like? I mean, really looks like! Look at a child! This is one of the many reasons I love working with our New Life Kids. As Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God." I am honored and excited about what God is doing in the lives of the families here at New Life. So, if you are a family of one, two, five, or ten, we welcome you to our New Life Family!
What does Kid's Church look like?
Upon arrival, you and your child will be welcomed by a member of our Check-In Team. Both you and your child will be given corresponding nametags to help ensure your child's safety.
After checking in, kids enter our "Big Room". Here, your child will have time to hangout and play games until our opening service begins.
We start and end this time together in worship. During this time, kids are free to sing, dance, and even play an instrument. Between worship, kids participate in learning of the day's lesson through a brief disccusion and/or an object lesson. We take time to celebrate birthdays, pray for missionaries, and pray for each other.
After opening, your child will be dismissed to their age appropriate classroom. The classrooms are as follows; Nursery (0-2 years), 2s & 3s, PreK - K, 1st - 2nd, and 3rd - 5th. In these classrooms our teachers teach the Bible so that the kids can best understand according to their age. In each class, there are snacks, more games, and a special lesson for the age of your child.
After the adult service has concluded, we ask that parents come to KidzZone for Check-Out. Once in line to pick up your child, please provide the parent ticket that was received during check-in. This ensures the safety of all the children to prove that the one with the parent ticket is supposed to pick up a specific child.
